![]() Not that I understand that either, since the Cutter would be limited where it can land. Maybe its a size of your ship that is the problem? Those with higher payouts I think use the Cutter. I have only read about Sothis myself, I think you doing it correct. I nearly always want A rated distro and A rated thrusters, decent shields and power plant for it all - not have those is a death sentence IMO or leads to you hating a ship before you know what it can really do. As a rule as I bought ships, I liked to have x2 or 3 the ships buying cost before I bought a new one. IMO never buy a new ship unless you equip it well, its better to fly a smaller A rated ship than an undergeared larger ship. Making it very versatile compared to others in its price range. ![]() Never forget the Python can land anywhere, has good cargo and has somewhat decent jump range. I would toggle FA-OFF on one axis and 4 in ENGINES to get NPCs in sights and then flip around my PIP configurations as the situation calls for. I use AutoHotKey "preset PIP configurations" scripts, so in one flick on HAT switch I can go from 2 WEAPONS / 4 SHIELDS to 4 ENGINE / 2 WEAPONS for example. I'd say you really really have to manage your PIPS and FA-OFF in Python to make is move. On the upside, if you learn to fly the Python well, it helped me fly the larger Anaconda well too. Longer version is the Anacondas ass drags more, so even though you turn faster it takes awhile for the rest of the ship to actually catch up and fly in the direction you pointing. Short answer is that I feel my Anaconda is more maneuverable compared to my old Python. I owned both, a 280-300 mil A rated Python and now A rated Anaconda (I think 600-700 mil.
